The Wind In The Willows Tickets - London
The multiple award-winning Illyria celebrates Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind In The Willows - the timeless story of friendship, laughter, the longing for home, and the irresistible lure of adventure. Enjoy it in the beautiful outdoor setting of St Paul's Church, Covent Garden this Summer.
Timid Mole is yearning to explore the whole wide world. Rat likes just messing about in boats and summer picnics while gruff old Badger enjoys a bit of peace and quiet. Their idyllic life on the Riverbank is turned upside down when Toad announces his latest, in what is a long line of extravagant obsessions: a gypsy caravan.
Exciting Toad. Generous Toad. Only-A-Tiny-Bit-Boastful Toad. The Riverbankers must console themselves in the belief that Toad cannot possibly get any worse - until - bewitched by the deafening roar of a motor-car, and the screeching of burning tyres - he does. All the other animals decide to save Toad from himself – but can they manage to teach him even a small jot of restraint, AND help him evict the opportunistic weasels and stoats who have taken over and occupied his ancestral pile?
